You've Sent Us Your Complaint — What Now?

THE BACKLOG. Normally we post complaints within 1-3 days. However, at the moment we have a very large backlog of complaints.

We try to keep up but since we don't charge for anything, we can't afford to keep lots of people hired or on standby for whenever we get a short-term backlog of complaints. So if your complaint isn't posted right away, rest assured it's safe in the holding area & eventually someone here will get to it — and when that happens, we send you an email with a link to your posted complaint & any additional helpful information we have.

If there is anything we need to clear up first with your complaint, we'll email you. So either way you'll get an email. If for some reason you need to see your complaint on the site right away, please shoot us an note explaning the situation & we'll do our best. Thanks for being patient!

Here are some additional steps you can take immediately that can help:

1. Does your complaint involve a safety-related defect?

U.S. RESIDENTS: It's definitely worth filing an official complaint with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). The NHTSA investigates safety-related vehicle issues & is the government body that forces manufacturers to issue a recall if a safety defect is found.

2. Has a business been deceitful, refused to honor a warranty, or has committed other improper business practices?

File a complaint with the Better Business Bureau (BBB). The BBB will contact the company on your behalf & may assist you in negotiating a deal if they agree that you have a case. Your complaint also goes on file permanently & will be available to other people looking into the business practices of the company. Multiple BBB complaints may also prevent a dealership from winning certain customer service awards from the manufacturer.
