Greetings: We have a 2015 bmw328I which came with Continental sport/contact tires installed since new. The vehicle has approximately 26000 miles. During a recent regular maintenance visit it was determined that the tires have become unsafe due to broken/separated cord which has caused the tread to raise unevenly causing excessive road noise and vibration while driving. The tires were determined to be unsafe and were replaced. We also had this same issue on a 2015 Honda civic equipped with oem Continental tires and had the same symptoms when new and those tires were replaced prior to 1000 miles with new Continental oem tires and again showed scalloping and uneven tread raise by 12000 miles. We find this a trend with these tires and have preempted a catastrophic failure of these tires by replacing them, at our expense, since the dealerships will not honor a tire warranty. We also feel that this is a safety concern that the consumer and operators of vehicles equipped with these tires be made aware of.

I'm leasing a BMW 2015 with 10K miles. Last Thursday, December 1st 2016 I had a flat tire, a small screw in the middle of the tire, punctured it. These are run-flat -tires, and they are defective!!! the dealer BMW-towson charge me $320 for a new tire. Now, again, the passenger rear tire is losing air, and now I have to replace it and the BMW dealer will charge me another $320 and the car has 18K miles.these tires are defective. I contacted Continental tire and towson BMW several times and they won't do anything, I'm out of warranty. I'm leasing this car and I take care of it.
