We don't have a lot of complaints on file for the BMW 328ci (although feel free to add yours here) -- probably because it's so old, no one bothers to post complaints anymore.
The 1997 BMW 328ci has the most complaints, & the most-reported problem is also with the 1997 328ci for top ripped in the same spot on both sides.

brake light circuit warning comes on intermittently -- 1997 328ci:
Sometimes while driving, a brake circuit warning comes up on the display. The brake lights work fine. From what I've read it's the brake pedal switch so I'm going to try spraying it with cleaner first, & if that doesn't work, I'll replace it & hopefully that will do the trick. Read more »

The tears are about an inch long & are in the middle of the side sections. The top was ripped in the same spot on both sides when I bought it. Otherwise the top is in mint condition - very strange.
