Huge win for car owners! All TSBs to be made public. The Center for Auto Safety just made the NHTSA (US Government) make public the full text of all TSBs from now on. They are the same organization that has petitioned the NHTSA & filed lawsuits to protect car owners over exploding gas tanks & other major safety issues. Whenever you drive in your car, you are safer thanks in part to a lot of work over the years by this small but very effective consumer advocacy group.

Please take a moment & say thank you by donating $5 or whatever you can to the Center for Auto Safety.

To whom it may concern: Sevas S-10 should not be targeted/marketed to BMW 6 or 7 series drivers. A 3rd case of known wheel failure occured on October 11th, 2007 it should be assumed/proven that this is a low quality wheel. Despite 3 (1 major accident due to wheel failure) known cases of these wheel breaking on BMW 6 & 7 series owners, other users complain of vibration problems when driving as well as steering wheels rattling. These were my initial experiences when the wheels were first installed. The wheels were rebalanced 3 times and hub centric rings were installed, however this did not fix anything. In result, it led the driver side rear and front wheel to split in half while driving 10mph in hollywood, ca on October 9th, 2007. Mr. Scott gibson, the president of sevas recommends using hub centric rings to eliminate vibration and poor ride quality, meaning he has prior knowledge that these wheels are not a perfect fit for the 6 & 7 series and ride quality problems exist. I believe that the department of transportation should take immediate action and remove these wheels off the market before any other fatal accidents are caused due to wheel failure. In my case, I have made a simple request to Mr. Gibson and asked him to reimburse for the following: (4) sevas S-10 22" wheels, (2) pirelli rear and front driver-side damaged tires, & misc expenses due to wheel failure. If any of the parties have any questions, comments, or concerns please do not hesitate to contact me. Sincerely, jake fermanian
