Read extensive reviews on Buick Century prior to purchase and all sources had it rated at or close to 5 stars for reliability. A transmission should not go in a vehicle with only 72,000 miles on it. Contacted GM Canada and got the usual ".. we strive for quality" line. Next passenger vehicle will be one that has better warranty where manufacturer guarantees the quality of the product by offering a longer warranty period.
