I'm pissed, once again a problem with the A/C system on this car. Is it possible to have this many problems with the A/C system on a car a little less than 4 years old? Took it to Buick, it is now out of warranty. They want to charge me $140.00 diagnostics. Took it to my mechanic, he said that the compressor is not performing as it should. Buick's solution: 1) Buy an extended warranty to get it fix or 2) Trade it in for another.

Had my Ford Explorer for 13 years and no major issues. The only reason I got rid of it was because I decided I needed something new.

Air suddenly did not feel cold. Returned to dealer. Replaced the expansion coil?

Update from Aug 10, 2016: At 28,000, it stopped working again. We had stopped for a quick bite and left the dog in the car with it running. When we came out about 15 minutes later the dog was panting and overheated, The air inside the car was hot, not cold. Thought we were going to lose the dog, gave her water and raced the engine to get it cold in car again. Took it back to the dealer, replaced the coil again and the blower motor base on service bulletins that said the blower motor was causing the problem when the armature was wearing out prematurely causing the coil to get clogged?? I belive GM should be sending out information on tis problem since it is well known instead of having to find out about it and almost losing our dog. What if we had infants inside the car?
