Huge win for car owners! All TSBs to be made public. The Center for Auto Safety just made the NHTSA (US Government) make public the full text of all TSBs from now on. They are the same organization that has petitioned the NHTSA & filed lawsuits to protect car owners over exploding gas tanks & other major safety issues. The contact owned a 2014 Buick Enclave. While driving into an intersection, the driver's side of the contact's vehicle was struck by an oncoming vehicle. The contact's vehicle spun off the road and landed in a ditch. The front end and driver's side of the vehicle were severely damaged. The contact was unable to recall the details of the crash. The air bags did not deploy. The contact was informed that the seat belt failed to lock and properly restrain him. The vehicle was towed and totaled. A police report was filed. The contact received injuries to the ribs, clavicle, and shoulder, which required medical attention. The approximate failure mileage was 40,000.

However, the dealer could not perform the repairs for three months because the parts were not available. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue. The vehicle had not experience the failure.
