Huge win for car owners! All TSBs to be made public. The Center for Auto Safety just made the NHTSA (US Government) make public the full text of all TSBs from now on. They are the same organization that has petitioned the NHTSA & filed lawsuits to protect car owners over exploding gas tanks & other major safety issues. Whenever you drive in your car, you are safer thanks in part to a lot of work over the years by this small but very effective consumer advocacy group.

The contact owns a 2015 Buick Enclave. While the vehicle was idling in the driveway, the contact depressed the brake pedal and the vehicle accelerated. The vehicle drove through a neighbor's driveway and yard. The contact managed to place the gear in neutral and then in park. The engine continued to rev while in park. There was no warning indicator illuminated. The contact notified a local dealer where it was diagnosed that nothing was wrong with the vehicle and there were no recalls. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure, but had not responded. The failure mileage was 8,000...updated 06/01/16....updated 06/15/16
