We purchased our new Buick with only 12 miles on it in April 2021. By the time we had around 400 miles on it, it started making this horrible grinding noise when applying the brakes at approximately 10-20 mph. At first it was only when the vehicle sat overnight (mind you it’s always parked in the garage and I work from home). Then the noise became more often, to now where it’s always when applying the brakes any time of day. I took it into the dealership about 1 month after purchasing this car and they can’t do anything about it. According to an updated Buick bulletin PIT5805 they are working on replacement parts that should have been available at the end of May beginning of June 2021. It’s now at the end of June and there has been no word around a resolution on this issue. I never had purchased a Buick and never will again. I’ve submitted a complaint to Buick and still no word. I now have about 2400 miles on my car.

Noticed a growling from the front wheels when braking. Car is brand new so I figured the pads needed to be used and properly seated in the brake assembly. Noise continued through our first 5000 mile service so we asked the service manager about it and he told us there was a TSB released just a few days before our service, so he would order the proper brake pads and set up a service appointment to replace them. We confirmed availability of the proper brake pads and set the appointment. Apparently these are very popular because they were out of stock from a Friday to Tuesday. Dealership frustrations aside, we love our Buick Enclave and would very much like to have this issue fixed.
