Huge win for car owners! All TSBs to be made public. The Center for Auto Safety just made the NHTSA (US Government) make public the full text of all TSBs from now on. They are the same organization that has petitioned the NHTSA & filed lawsuits to protect car owners over exploding gas tanks & other major safety issues. The contact owns a 2002 Buick Park Avenue. The contact stated that while driving approximately 60 mph, smoke and flames were seen from the rear driver's side. The fire department was contacted to extinguish the fire. A fire report was filed with no injuries reported. The vehicle was towed to a mechanic where however, the vehicle was destroyed. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The approximate failure and current mileage was 132,000.

The fire department was able to extinguish the fire and a fire report was filed. The vehicle was towed to a dealer. The manufacturer was not notified of the incident. The failure mileage was 195,000.
