Huge win for car owners! All TSBs to be made public. The Center for Auto Safety just made the NHTSA (US Government) make public the full text of all TSBs from now on. They are the same organization that has petitioned the NHTSA & filed lawsuits to protect car owners over exploding gas tanks & other major safety issues. Whenever you drive in your car, you are safer thanks in part to a lot of work over the years by this small but very effective consumer advocacy group.

Please take a moment & say thank you by donating $5 or whatever you can to the Center for Auto Safety.

Upon picking the vehicle up on 8/10/04 from the dealer. The vehicle was driven several miles on route 50 and suddenly stalled while traveling 45 miles per hour endangering the driver. After sitting several minutes the vehicle restarted and was immediately returned to the dealer. The vehicle again stalled upon arriving at the dealer. Dealer currently has the vehicle. The vehicle must be repaired to prevent further stalling since driver and any passengers are in danger along with any other vehicles in close proximity. The dealer and Buick have been made aware that the stalling creates a hazardous condition for the driver and the public. Due to the repetition of such stalling that has occurred any future hazards created by this malfunction are foreseeable by the dealer and Buick. As such, we can only accept the vehicle back upon the dealer's and Buick's assurance that it safe to drive at the posted speed limits on the public highways. If such assurance is not possible, then as a matter of public policy the vehicle should be replaced or our money refunded.
