Have a 2003 Avalanche as well as this 2010 one. The old one is a fine beast and has never had this problem in 150,000 miles. This is a significant problem because in this newer model we have to watch that we don't carry or store anything in the bed that would be damaged by rainy weather or a trip through a car wash. We wondered if anyone else had this problem and if so have they had it repaired?
