latch on back of pass. seat has broken with seat folded
This is a custom ordered 2011 Camaro, one of the first off the assembly line in 2010. Wonderful car, except the latch on the back of the passenger seat has always been hard to operate to allow access to the back seat. Recently, after removing a child seat from the back, the seat remains locked into folded down position and will not sit back up. Latch sounds broken when we pull it to try to get it to release. Oh how I wish it was still under warranty!! Hope I don't have to replace the entire seat, but the perforated seat has a big tear from setting a box on it anyway.
Update from Aug 18, 2017: Oops! My passenger, when removing a child seat, had used the lever AND the power seat folding feature at the same time! My hero of a husband simply pressed the power seat back up and all is working fine. Separate issue of torn seat to be addressed by our dealership.
