I bought this car the beginning of the year 2006 I had some problems with the Cooling system, because the car sat around a year before I had bought it. About a week ago, I began to hear a slight noise that sounded like a clock ticking. The day after I heard it, the car would start up (after pumping the gas pedal) then when I let off the pedal the car would shake and then stall. I haven't been able to drive the car, and I'm getting a little annoyed.... Please help.

It started fine in the morning, idled a little high but ran okay for a while. When I turned off the highway and sat at the intersection, went to take off after the light turned and it stalled. I tried several times to restart it and it would crank but not turn over. my guess is either the fuel pump or the Electronic Control Module, either way it let me down again!
