Huge win for car owners! All TSBs to be made public. The Center for Auto Safety just made the NHTSA (US Government) make public the full text of all TSBs from now on. They are the same organization that has petitioned the NHTSA & filed lawsuits to protect car owners over exploding gas tanks & other major safety issues. Whenever you drive in your car, you are safer thanks in part to a lot of work over the years by this small but very effective consumer advocacy group.

Please take a moment & say thank you by donating $5 or whatever you can to the Center for Auto Safety.

Cavalier Z24 2.4L V4

  • Automatic transmission
  • 118,061 miles

on the z24 the window switch is in between the front seats, the driver side window bottom stopped working so i got another socket from the scrap yard and its happening again a year later,

furthermore, the window seal on the passenger side clogs the window, causing it not to close properly

Makes it difficult to pay tolls, drive through if you cannot roll your power windows down. It makes you open your door just to get to the service person at the toll booth or drive through windows. It is also a very difficult repair if you want to do it yourself.
