My mechanic is great--very honest and trustworthy and they cannot figure out what causes the problem.

From day 1 of having this car brought brand new, I have had issues with it. The dealership had said that it was not doing it for them so it was fine. Bull. I have been stuck in Atlanta traffic before and damn near got myself killed with it stalling out. I figured out one of the best ways to keep it running when it is acting up when coming to a stop is to punch the clutch in and punch it in to neutral real quick. Well my check engine light recently came on, so my husband has finally been forced to look at the problem. Apparently a chirping sound is coming from the IAC once the car is turned off. Hopefully this will fix the problem. The only thing is that every where we call the part is special order. Piece of crap car.

When coming to a stop or idling my tachometer would dip down low to almost stalling then rev up high again. It also does it when pushing the clutch in to slow or stop. The dealer said the fuel system was clogged and cleaned it. It stopped doing it but this past summer in real hot weather it started doing it again. It has stopped again without getting it looked at.
