I own a 2005 Chevy Corvette. I know it gets rock chips in the front end. That is inevitable. The clear coat on the hood started to bubble in October. I've babied this car! Now the clear has peeled off of the front end. I am seeing a pattern with GM cars and clear coat issues. I own a 1997 Grand Prix GT, bought it new, again babied it. Same thing has happened. I used to have a 1989 Camero, same thing. So, if I'm taking care of my paint and it is peeling off of 3 totally different GM vehicles, why isn't GM improving their paint? This is bull#@!^ I can't afford to repaint every older vehicle that I have. There are cars that come out of wrecking yards that still shine when you wax them! Come on GM, make your products better. They cost enough to buy as it is!
