We bought this car new and took it on a trip out east and noticed after a 1,000 miles the dash and door panels had a white chalky residue, so I wiped it off with a damp rag. We returned from the trip and I cleaned the car exterior and interior, changed the oil and put it in winter storage, the next spring the whole interior was white. I contacted the dealer he said, GM service bulletin say's clean with Murphy's oil soap,. I have done this several times over the past 3 years and it keeps coming back. The last time we drove the car was on the trip east two day's after we bought it. We are afraid to drive it because of the unknown substance bleeding through the vinyl. The car has 3,100 miles on it and GM said, the only thing they could do is replace the dash and door panel's. Can you imagine what are car would be like after having this done?? This is not the way to treat a customer that bought the most expensive Chevy product. No wonder Ford is doing so well.
