I would like to confirm what others have said about the Colorado transmissions performance. It started at around mileage 12,000, and continued to get worse. Certain driving moves and sudden requests for acceleration could render the truck unresponsive, unable to accelerate. It makes me feel very unsafe in the vehicle.
I have taken the truck to the dealership for maintenance and to address the transmission issues 3 times. I have received only comments how none of the garage techs could find an issue. I have taken friends on rides in this truck, and they have told me to take it to the Dealership. The Dealership is telling me not to worry because the transmission has a 60K mile transmission warranty.
Not only that, but I was told that the dealership only had 1 transmission guy for the dealership. And that it was a good thing my truck still ran, because they only had 1 transmission guy. And it would have taken 2 weeks to repair.
The dealerships language seems to place the blame on the car owner, but I'm here to say "shenanigans" because of the issues I've had and read about. This is a dangerous vehicle.
