Called G:M ..."we're sorry about this"! Problem is the car is not safe. Power loss..no back up camera and then the absolute kicker, Dealer tells me there is water in the bumper that shorted out the sensors and that shorted out the wire harness. $147 to remove back bumper..sensors and harness $2800.00. When I inquired about what assurances that it would not happen again? "They changed the sensors and harness so now it's waterproof". Hello! This is a defective design and GM is hoping like hell that they all pass 36,000.
I explained this was my daughters 1st car out of college and now she doesn't have $2800.00 to pay on top of her $325.00 car payment. All of this fine except the car dies on the freeway and it's dangerous. I encouraged her to buy G:M and buy American, what a mistake and what a lousy company. This is defective and they won't stand behind it.
Started with a dead battery then the negative battery cable fiasco...now this 52,000 miles and it's a paper weight. Water in the rear bumper, this is Minnesota has GM ever heard of snow? She needs help and break.
