Power door locks would work intermittently and randomly. Sometimes all doors and the rear hatch, then only the drivers door sometimes. Using the Drivers or Passenger Door Lock switches produced the same results. One Key FOB worked while the other did not. Now I have to use the key to get into the drivers door. Rear hatch became permanently locked with no way to open.

I drove the vehicle to the Dealer and they first told me I had to purchase a new Key FOB ($70) as that is the start of their trouble shooting procedure. The New Key FOB did not help and after further trouble shooting (another $70), dealer says I have a bad Passenger Door Lock Switch along with all 5 Door lock Actuators. They estimated $1800 to repair and when I asked if this was unusual they said no and they have seen this before.

I declined the repair since this is half of the vehicles value and I am tired of spending monies on repair after repair after repair on this vehicle. It is a piss poor design to have all of these components fail at the same time along with no way to open the rear hatch. This is why I and everyone in my family will never buy another GM product again !
