Huge win for car owners! All TSBs to be made public. The Center for Auto Safety just made the NHTSA (US Government) make public the full text of all TSBs from now on. They are the same organization that has petitioned the NHTSA & filed lawsuits to protect car owners over exploding gas tanks & other major safety issues. Whenever you drive in your car, you are safer thanks in part to a lot of work over the years by this small but very effective consumer advocacy group.

Transmission does not shift properly. It will either hang up in the last gear or shift hard with a clunk into the next gear. Have returned the vehicle to the dealer twice and have been told this is normal for a 6 speed transmission. My 2007 Equinox also had a 6 speed transmission and never shifted like this 2011 does. This is the 6th Chevrolet I've bought since 2000. Think they would try to determine what the problem is before I opt for another auto maker.

2011 Chevy Equinox transmission and electrical issues. Transmission not shifting smoothly and at times the car will seem to want to die out. 6600 milesand I see online that others are having the same issue. I do not want my wife to break down or get into a crash because of the trans not engaging.
