I was parked in front of my girlfriends house there was no leak. We went in for about 2 hours or so and it had been raining. We came back out, and I saw that the passenger side floor was flooded ankle deep. Could not find the source of leak. Checked the windows and door and couldn't find out where the water had come from. I dried out the water with a towel and drove to a friends house. We were gone about another hour and came back to find the passenger side floor flooded again! There was some traces of water under the dash board so it could have been leaking from there. Im gonna take it to the Chevy service department to report the leak and see if they can fix it. If i find out i will post a solution. If anyone had had the same problem and solved it please email me with the solution. Thanks.

I found a huge puddle of water filling the passenger compartment floor after a rainstorm and had no idea what happened. It was a significant amount of water and it was only on the passenger side. Luckily there is a plug on the floor under the carpet that you can remove to drain the water out. The padding under the carpet really soaks up some water too, so that had to be squeezed out by hand. It happened a few times before I broke down and had to spend at least $400 to get it fixed - I don't remember the exact amount. They said that they had to deflect the water streaming down from the roof and cowl and the channels inside the door frame to run another way because the water was getting in somewhere behind the glove box. I didn't have a problem after this for two or three years until a couple of weeks ago when I saw a wet spot on the carpet, again on the passenger side, after a rain storm. I have not really been able to get that stale smell out of my car since the original problem, which is very inconvenient.

When it rains, passenger floorboard fills with water. Same as other complaints!

Can barely see it trickling down from behind the dash - but not real sure of the actual spot of the leak.

Where I live it tends to rain when it wants to. And when it does rain, it rains a lot. So I was driving my car down the street and I hit a water puddle and kept on my way to work. When I got there, I reach over to get some paperwork off of the floor on the passenger side and its soaked. I look for a spilled drink or something, but there wasnt anything. I then realized that the whole passenger side floor of the car was soaked. I couldnt believe that so much water came in the car from hitting a puddle. But it has happened numerous times. I have replaced all of the door seals and purposely driven through big puddles on the drivers side to try and duplicate the other side of the car. But the car only seems to leak water in on the passenger side. I also have a 64 Impala, and I have never had any problems with leaking. Why do they make newer cars so much crappier than the old ones. All the fun gadgets arent so fun when you gotta replace stupid shit all the time.

Water pours into the passenger front in 3 streams under the dash - ankle deep. Got this dry and then the back right floor was drenched. Wondering if this is windshield - or some drain is disconnected

While broken down at my parents house (transmission went out) the car had an unexplained leak which left standing water on the passenger side floor only! Could find NO source of a leak. Dried the floor out and put in several "Dries Air" containers to absorb moisture. Continued to empty water out of the containers and add more packets of beads as needed. Car was covered, but continued to have moisture although not as much as when first discovered. Thank goodness we were checking on the car while it sat!!! We still are not sure what caused the leak. Any ideas would be appreciated!!!
