Huge win for car owners! All TSBs to be made public. The Center for Auto Safety just made the NHTSA (US Government) make public the full text of all TSBs from now on. They are the same organization that has petitioned the NHTSA & filed lawsuits to protect car owners over exploding gas tanks & other major safety issues. Whenever you drive in your car, you are safer thanks in part to a lot of work over the years by this small but very effective consumer advocacy group.

Please take a moment & say thank you by donating $5 or whatever you can to the Center for Auto Safety.

Car would start but none of the gages nor the radion or any of the electronic components would come on. Shut it off wait a few minutes and it would work again. Happened many times, got it "fixed" started happening again a month later and was again "fixed" but with a different remedy so far shelled out 700 dollars for a car with sixty thousand miles on

The computer that is in my car is new for this model, and this year. No other car has it in there. What is happening is that while driving down the road, the computer gets overloaded with information, and pukes with a B0100 error. The dealership tried the other 2001. It had the same problem. They tried three other 2001's that the southern dealership owned. They had the same problem. There are other dealerships also having this same problem with the 2001 Chevrolet Impala airbags.
