- This Preliminary Information communication provides information to the technician on the Heater-Vent-Air Conditioning operation during a remote start event. For Impala and Monte Carlo 2006 and 2007 model year equipped with Regular Production Option Code C67 single zone. If the blower and mode are correct but the temperature is not correct please refer to current Technical Service Bulletin 07-01-38-002. It is also important to note that if the vehicle sits for less than three hours after key off, the Outside Air Temperature uses the last stored value which may be incorrect by the time you get back to the vehicle.
