The contact owns a 2010 Chevrolet Impala. When the contact placed the vehicle in reverse, the ABS and service traction warning indicators illuminated. The contact stated that another unknown warning indicator also illuminated. The contact took the vehicle to a certified mechanic who diagnosed that the passenger side wheel bearing failed and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired; however, the failure recurred whenever the vehicle was started or while attempting to make left or right turns. The vehicle was not repaired the manufacturer was made aware of the failures and opened case number: 8-2855204461. The approximate failure mileage was 74,000. Updated 07/11/17
