2014 Chev Impala less then 35,000 miles, went to dealership where I purchase for service and was told the part was on back order and I would be notified when part came in. One month past contacted CHEV Corporate office, apparently the part, GM PART # 12633613 rocker arm oil control valve, IS A discontinued part. End of story as far as dealership and Chev corporate office.
(1) Why was it necessary for the dealership to lie....
(2) How does Chevy get away with not being able to supply parts to car that only 6 years old?
Car still operating with check engine light on, can NOT pass state emission test with light on.....really getting to that level of being really P O.
