Yesterday, while taking a left onto the 35 N freeway, three error warnings came on - stabilitrak, ABS and Power Steering. It was then that I noticed the steering wheel returning back to center wasn't happening easily, and my power steering wasn't working. When I finally needed to apply brakes, they were feeling odd, almost like an on/off grab, like an uneven brake pad, not sure how to describe it.
I stopped in at Walmart and when I went to back up the car, I discovered that none of the sensors were reporting people or cars behind me! This is a huge safety issue. A person WAS walking behind my car and a car was behind that person! The Impala has a lot of blind spots, you must have these sensors working in order to see or it's not safe. Is there a recall on this? If there's not, there should be. What is wrong with my car, why did it suddenly do this?
