so ive been told several times by many of my mechanic friends that i am not suppose to be driving my car because this problem could blow up my engine. which is not very good of course... this car is a pain. ive had the struts replace, wheel bearings replaced, my car makes a random honking noise during the winter.. great car ;(
We have partnered with JustAnswer to offer online auto repair help and advice from expert professional automotive technicians. You describe your cooling system problem or ask your question and they try to help you figure it out. The fee is typically $9 to $15, but you can offer to pay more for really tough questions. You will usually receive an answer in 10 minutes or less, and you do not have to pay anything unless you accept the answer.

Like many others i found this site while looking up info on oil in antifreeze, and it looks like i am having the exact same problems as everybody else,I have not had any work done yet ,but it looks like i will have to in the near future,I have noticed oil in the water and i have had to add a little antifreeze one time, also have smelled antifreeze and have not found any on the ground under the car.Everyone is right GM does need to recall these cars and fix the problem.I also notice that there was a lawsuit against GM and Dexcool, but i never received any word about a lawsuit
