My Malibu has had a problem cutting off the cruse by applying the brakes. You must stand on the brakes and hope the cruse cuts off. This has been going on for at least a year. I typed in the vin and found out that there is a recall for the problem #(13036). I later received a letter from GM on July 21,2014 stating that there was a recall. This problem also effects the traction control, electronic stability control and panic brake assist.
Call GM and they had no idea when a fix or parts would be available. Screwed again by GM.
