when i got my car 3 years ago the paint was starting to peel up a little in the wheel wells but was not seen unless looking into the wheel well. of course with the snowy wheel wells in wisconsin winters it got much worse very quickly. now all four of my wheel wells have chipped paint and not rusty looking metal. its only a 2000, my boyfriends 1998 car has no rust of paint chipping. also on my hood i some how got a pin hole in my clear coat and water from rain and car washes got under there and made my clear coat come off in a spot about as big as my head and it looks terrible.its a huge spot of really matte looking paint. i cant believe how bad off a paint job is on the car and i have seen other monte carlos with the same problem.
chevy should really make it up to their car owners. this problem along with many others that are quite common to my make and model makes me not want to buy any chevy again.
