Huge win for car owners! All TSBs to be made public. The Center for Auto Safety just made the NHTSA (US Government) make public the full text of all TSBs from now on. They are the same organization that has petitioned the NHTSA & filed lawsuits to protect car owners over exploding gas tanks & other major safety issues. Whenever you drive in your car, you are safer thanks in part to a lot of work over the years by this small but very effective consumer advocacy group.

Original owner 1998 S10 Chevrolet, low mileage... had to make hard stop when cut off on hwy...brake pedal went to floor.... no braking...drove to side of road brake fluid leaking severely...... took the vehicle to repair facility.... brake line had burst due to corrosion.... resulting in replacement of 3/4 of brake lines, ,..rear brake drums corroded through ( the face had through & through corrosion )...the brake shoes had little cost 735 dollars, brake lines & drums.....
