My spare tire off of the 2000 Silverado fell off the bottom bed and wound up 100 feet off the highway in the woods. The cable frayed on the attachment!

Extended stopping distance when applying the brakes, the pedal feels spongy. Dealer stated that there was nothing he could do. Brake pedal goes to the floor and the front brakes will not lock up even if the ABS is disconnected. The trucks frame is so thin that the whole truck vibrates when taking off. Consumer states that the horn button has to be pivotted up and the steering wheel has to be at twelve oclock in order for the horn to sound, heat shields rattle under vehicle when traveling over bumps, dealer made adjustments.
