Suddenly and without any warning the brake pedal went to the floor. after bumping into a building I got the truck stopped. I got out to find all my brake fluid on the ground under the driver's side door. I looked up under the truck and all the lines are scaly and rusted bad. This is unacceptable for a 9 year old vehicle. I have cars that are 30 plus years old and don't have rusted lines.

Truck was purchased as a Certified General Motors used vehicle with 17000 original miles on it from a authorized Chevrolet dealership. A complaint to this General Motor's dealership where the truck was purchased was completely ignored. It is no wonder why General Motors went belly up-letting their dealerships treat their customers by not resolving their cheap manufacturing problems and passing the buck of repair expenses onto their customers. I am gradually resolving these mechanical problems by installing high quality after market parts and restoring this Silverado to the dignity and respect it deserves. This Silverado is by far a better ride, better looking and better handling than my previous F150 Ford 4X4 which had its share of mechanical problems.
