Alway have been a Chevy lover.....Have had this chevy silverado since new...One day it just started running very rough.... Took it to auto shop near home because it was close by....They did a decarbonizing over night thinking it was a piece of carbon caught in the valves....Well that didn't help @ all , so they ended up tearing the motor apart down to the valves and the valves were wore to paper thin.... They replaced all 16 valves and I was charged 2,000 dollars... Just felt like I had to complain and wondered if anyone else has gone through this problem with their Silverado ..... I have babied this truck from brand new....Regular oil changes , Fuel injector cleaners regularly. I also used E 85 as fuel as this truck could run on that or regular fuel.... The garage that did valve job has done a good job , as my truck runs like new again....No complaints on that end...What would cause this w / only 45,000 miles ? And will it happen again ? Be waiting for any thoughts or comments.
