While driving in the rain my daughter, who was in the passenger seat said, "The windshield is wet." I said, "I know it's raining." She then proceeded to wipe her hand on the inside of the windshield and said."See!"

The next day was when I noticed a foul smell in the car. I found the carpet soaking wet on her side. So much that I could cup my hand on the carpet and pick up water. Now the carpet has a moldy smell coming from it and I think I'm going to have to replace the windshield. To me It looks like the sealant used to seal the windshield may have shrunk and cracked. the windshield is not cracked or broken, and I'm looking to see if this is a manufacture defect. Also I'm going to have to steam the moldy carpet area to kill off the mold, but I need to wait for warmer weather so It can dry. A real pain in the ass!!!
