air bag light comes on and goes off when passenger seat move
So I call dealership to report problem I talk to service people . They told me there was no safety recall on the vehicle and since I did not have a warranty on it I would have to pay to have them come test it out to see what the problem is .so after moving the passenger seat back a few times , the airbag warning light went off. Just comes to show u that the they don't care for there product or stand behind it if just want to brush everything under the carpet and collect ur money to fix a vehicle they had sold u in the first place . Thanks heister Chevy in fuquay Varina . U got my money and I got ur problem . No worries Gm I fix it my self and trade it in for a Honda truck to Toyota since I can't keep urs running .
The DTC says "Air bag service needed". You cannot get a code reader to figure it out without going to a high priced auto shop. I purchased an up-to-date reader and even though it says my truck is compatible it doesn't do the air bag system. Auto shop says code doesn't specify any one location. That means a lot of labor!
