One day the brake pedal felt as firm and smooth as it came from the dealer. I liked that. Smooth, reliable stops. Then one day I pushed the pedal and it felt loose and as I pushed to the bottom it made a jerky, sudden stop. It feels like the pedal is loose and going to the floor. Spongy feeling.
Let me give an ANALOGY to make this more clear:
IMAGINE that your brake pedal had an adjustment screw of some sort. You turn the screw to the right to "tighten" the brake pedal. You turn the screw to the left to "loosen" the brake pedal. My imaginary "screw" is all the way to the left. I want it back the way it used to be. Turned all the way to the right. Tight but smooth. Took it to the dealer under warranty and he said "there was nothing wrong with the brakes". I don't know if he gave it a road test or not.
Other than that, it's a really great car!
