Coming back from the Sierras in Northern California all of sudden the door locks start going up and down. Power starts going in and out, the dash starts going on and off. My kids start crying, my wife is asking questions on what is going on. Lucky I kept my cool and pulled over right away with our hazards on. Once pulled over we sat there for about 5 minutes and then all of sudden we had power again. We drove home without a problem.

2 months later, it happened again but this time I was leaving work and the Tahoe starts losing power and I'm stuck for over an hour on the side of the road. So I started messing with the keys, popped the hood and start looking around. Had a buddy come by and jump the truck, no problems for another 2 weeks.

Happened again at Target, this time no power at all to anything once I turn the Tahoe off. I was so sick of this problems I left Tahoe there and got a ride home. Had it towed home(AAA), bought a new battery thinking that could be the problem. Not the problem as I was stranded again, this time with my whole family. Called Chevy, they told me to bring it in for them to look at. No, as I didn't want to spend more money on something that I knew they would just tell me a bunch of BS.

I have had 6 Chevys since I started driving and this is the first time I have ever had any issues like this. I cant let my wife or kids in this piece as I am afraid it could die on them or worst and lose power while on the freeway and cause a accident.

So Chevy you should buy these trucks back or fit the problem. Its called a recall.

Not a Chevy fan anymore.

Car will lose power and can't give it gas. The door locks will go up and down, radio will not play, no turn signals. When we get in sometimes it is like we just got the car and have to reset everything. Changed the battery in February and the problem stopped but started back up last week. I checked the alternator and it seems to be charging fine. It is putting out 14.4 amps. One time it would not start at all like the battery was dead. When I went to put the cables to jump the car the lights came on and everything seemed to work fine.
