I had several problems with the quality of the finish. Shortly after purchsing the vehicle a large chunk of paint on the driver side rocker panel fell off (several square inches). Initially the dealer argued that it was a rock chip. He finally repaired it under warranty.
Last year the back door (underside) began showing signs of serious rust. Again I brought it to the dealer and this time they said the warranty had expired (300 kilometers over the 60 K factory warranty). Dealer indicated it was like buying a lottery ticket. If it's expired by one day the ticket is worthless. I made a fuss and they finally agreed to repair the vehicle at no cost to me.
I know what the dealer will say although I have extended warranty .....
