My gas tank door started to scratch my paint when I opened it. I made an appointment to get it fixed but then my gas door fell off. No rust or anything, just fell off! I called the local body shop and they said they have had quite a few of these. I called Chrysler and I got Brent who was very rude and told me it was due to weather or something I did to it. I am not abusive to my gas door and it sits in a garage most of the time even though I feel the door should not fall off no matter what the weather. I asked for a supervisor and was refused, this went on for 30 min so I called back and asked the next person who was very nice for a supervisor and she said they call back within a day. Still waiting for that call. I have been a Chrystler customer for years but will NEVER buy another one due to this poor customer service. I bought their lifetime warranty as well. Kind of ridiculous to loose a customer over a gas tank cover, but they have.
