Random brake light indicator on the dashboard comes and goes in the middle of driving. What's that about?

Car was bought as used in June 24, 2015 with 34K miles and a week after driving it off the lot, returned it back to the dealer as brake sensor light comes on and off when driving. I also notified Chrysler dealer, but car was bought from Hyundai dealer first. Both didn't acknowledge anything and supposedly there was nothing wrong with the vehicle.

About a month ago, husband had a car accident, brake sensor light came on and brakes failed, he pumped the pedal, but nothing happened. Now he was given a surcharge on his license. Car was just repaired and returned to us after a month, car was picked up on Wednesday late am of this week and again on Friday, car brake light sensor came on. I am totally appalled in finding that the problem consists, I am afraid of brake failure again with either me or hubby driving.

I will be bringing the car back to the Chrysler dealer this week, and will request a diagnosis via computer, and if not repaired, will trade this vehicle in. Not looking for brakes to fail again while driving, it can be a death toll for me or my spouse.
