CarComplaints.com Notes: The 2015 Chrysler 200 carries the torch of "never buy the 1st year of a new vehicle generation" with pride.

The 2015 model year is the first year of the Chrysler 200's 2nd generation. It has been plagued by problems from the start. Transmission failure at extremely low mileage, many recalls, problems stalling while driving... the list goes on. Maybe Chrysler should have stuck with the 1st generation.

There's really no excuse for a heated seat problem at 36,000 miles. Chrysler abandoning this second generation vehicle after only three years says a lot about their confidence in the reliability.. I can certainly vouch for that considering all the recalls for parts in this car which should not have been used before complete testing occurred. The nine-speed transmission is the scariest part, which after several software updates, still jumps when just slightly pressing down on the accelerator. There should be one final recall for this car.....a full refund.
