I'm having so much fun with this car. Since I have had the car from November there were no apparent problems since our weather has been below 4 degrees Celsius (around mid 30 to low 40 degrees Fahrenheit for my American friends) so the car has absolutely NO REASON to shift between AWD & RWD. This particular Saturday it was above 5 degrees Celsius but in wet conditions. Again the car is not to come out of AWD with wet conditions. I got in my car and started it. I heard the 1st chime... Crap - here we go again. AWD light is back on. The car keeps chiming intermittently and keeps switching between awd/red. Eventually the engine light comes on.

Here's the fun part... I decided let me try to put the car in drive. Thank goodness I was in a parking lot that wasn't busy. I also had my video camera trained on the dash. The transmission decides to shift itself between 1st, 2nd and 3rd gear back to the 1st gear in opposite direction. The car did this twice... 1, 2, 3, 2, 1... and you feel the jerking between each gear. Also because everything happens so fast I also caught the warning to service power steering. Put the car in an empty parking spot called for a tow and called the dealership again. I showed the advisor my video and pictures.

The remedy? Again I was told MULTIPLE CODES... they replaced the connector for the transmission. They gave me the car on NEW YEAR'S EVE! I told them I don't trust the car to be safe. That could have caused an accident if I had been driving on the road.

I have 1 more complaint, because I took the car back January 2 2020 after only driving the car for 280kms. 😡 And I was told its the main computer. Oh but wait... that came up before, with all the multiple codes. Nothing is communicating properly in my car.

Chrysler needs to stand by their customers. They know there is a problem with the car because initially when I brought the car in with this issue the mechanic asked me if I knew of someone looking for a problem with my car. Looked like someone was chasing a problem. They didn't make this configuration of car in 2018 so Chrysler knows there is a problem. Most likely the transmission CANNOT handle the engine hence now they make this configuration with a HEMI engine.

I called Head Office and got the politically correct answer, but I asked if this was their car, would they be happy and stand for this nonsense of your car that you're paying for has spent more time at the dealership than your own home and the rep said no. So why should that be okay for the customer?
