I brought my car new it is a 2018, I keep in the garage and have 48,000 miles on it. The two side panels on the drivers and passengers have separated. I reported to Chrysler who said since it was out of warranty the most they would pay 70% of the cost which is costing me little over than $1,000 and was told I should be happy with that.
I explained this car is a luxury car, and this is not the first Car I have brought new. This is a first problem I have ever had w/ a new vehicle and explained no customer who have brought this vehicle if they would have known the side panels would detached itself from the windows.
The car looks tacky and as I review the complaints from other customers they are having the same problem. The material is cheap and yet you are paying a mint for car payments.
This is unacceptable, and before writing this , I just read of another person in Florida who has the same problem, Hers occurred in July 2023, Mine occurred in Oct 2023. We should not have to pay one dime towards cheap material when making a so called luxury automobile. I speak for all of us something should be done, if you want to keep us as a customer.
