The contact stated while vehicle was parked it caught on fire. The fire started in the battery. There was damage to the right front fender. There were no prior problems with the vehicle. Police and fire department reports were taken. The vehicle has not been inspected by the service dealer. Additionally, there has been no contact with the manufacturer of the battery.
