Huge win for car owners! All TSBs to be made public. The Center for Auto Safety just made the NHTSA (US Government) make public the full text of all TSBs from now on. They are the same organization that has petitioned the NHTSA & filed lawsuits to protect car owners over exploding gas tanks & other major safety issues. While driving the consumer heard a groaning noise.. the driver started to pull of F to the side of the road when she experienced a momentary loss of control. When the consumer's husband checked the power steering reservoir he noticed it was dry. Upon further investigation the consumer found out that the bottom of the power steering pump had corroded through and the fluid leaked out through the housing.

Power steering has regularly cut off when turning at very low speeds and backing up. Vehicle has been returned to dealer 10 times. Dealer has replaced tie rods, power steering pump, belt, tensioner, steering rack, and steering column. Problem is intermittent and dealer states it does not do it when test drive is taken.
