We don't have a lot of complaints on file for the Dodge Spirit (although feel free to add yours here) -- probably because it's so old, no one bothers to post complaints anymore.

squeaking near the fan belt -- 1992 Spirit:
A small chirping/squeaking sound was coming out from the left side of the engine around the alternator. When took to the shop, it found out it was under the alternator and was the bearings on the belt tensioner. It was replaced and cost about $130. Not too bad. Read more »

hissing sound from left side of engine -- 1992 Spirit:
A strange hissing sound coming from the left side of the engine around the alternator. I just had the belt tensioner replaced due to cruddy bearings, but I have no idea as to what is wrong with the hissing. Nothing is leaking and no steam is coming out. Any ideas? Read more »
