car has on two different occassions, with approximately 300 plus miles between occurances, for no apparent reason, lost power and goes from a cruising speed of 65, down to 40, then to almost nothing. Stop for several minutes and restart car and runs fine. Has very recent tune up, plugs, etc., timing belt replaced and valve job 400 miles ago. car otherwise runs great. When get into a Chrysler garage, they check everything out and have been driving it and they cannot find anything wrong according to all checks and computer checks. I feel it is eithor or maybe a combination of both the coil pack (some call it a stator or coil module) which goes in the distributor and the fuel pump. Have just replaced both, will see how it works now. Compression and all excellent, no overheating, thermostat, hoses and back flush also recently done (all before this started happening).

UPDATE: even though dealer test indicared all ok, and they didnt want to, at my insistance, had them (after numerous computer and road tests) replace coil pack and fuel pump and fuel filter. ever since, car has performed perfectly.
