The problem only occurs when the outside temp. is 65 degrees and below. It is somewhat embarrassing to be at a stop light with this awful noise coming from my
transmission. The noise ceases after it heats up. A small amount of transmission
fluid drips on my garage floor and obviously messy. I keep a check on and maintain
the proper transmission fluid level. Other than these gripes, the transmission appears
to be working ok. I would like to know what the problem is without having to move.
